Our Adventures

Shackleton Theatrics has been staging theatre in the Los Angeles region since the Summer of 2024. In that time, we have been able to put up 6 unique productions, all of which either new works by young aspiring artists, or works forgotten by the mainstream that allow new and creative takes on these forgotten works. Coming Soon

Spring 2026

Lead Producer Park Lytle's third written project and the third collaboration between him and director Hunter Mahmoud Abal. The Meowing Nuns will chronicle two priests investigation into an eerie convent, where a strange meowing noise is heard within the walls every night.

Fall 2025

Lead Producer Park Lytle's second collaboration with Hunter Mahmoud Abal under the Shacklteon Banner, Lands was a project initially spearheaded by its performers, Michael Lanham and Alec Anderson-Carrasco. An hour long comedy of two men struggling to communicate without understanding.

Spring 2025

Park Lytle's second written piece and first time in the directorial role. Emily Sombra marked the first show directly promoted under the Shackleton Theatrics branding. Following the journey of a young girl through a mythical land of fear, in hopes of finding a way to save her mother's life.

Spring 2025

Written and Starring Anushka Shah. This hour long piece marked Shackleton Theatrics' first one-person show. Chronicling the history and cultural impact of Anushka's family through the food eaten and prepared during her life and the women who came before her.

Fall 2024

The first collaboration between Lead Producer Park Lytle and director Hunter Mahmoud Abal, The Dictator sparks a hilariously sad political satire on the rise and fall of a military dictator in the midst of a surrealist coup.

Fall 2024

The Flagship Production of Shackleton Theatrics. Jimmy Jenkenheimer was a light-hearted adventure romped that served as Lead Producer Park Lytle's first written work staged by Shackleton Theatrics. Focused on a man with the power to leap into books and his constant battles with his nemesis, The Crab Handed Man.

summer 2024

morgan mcdonald's writing and directorial debut marked the first official production produced by shackleton theatrics. highlighting the descent of a young girl's mental state through past, current, and future traumas.
