About the event
Before today, these two men were travelling on wildly different paths, but upon this humble park bench, we shall witness the havoc of their intersection. One man sits calmly on his bench, waiting patiently to continue with his day. The other has just been to the zoo; what exactly did he do there? That is something for both men to unfold.
Edward Albee's timeless 1958 play dives deep into the chaos and desperation of the unheard voice, and agony and discomfort of the quiet disturbance. Directed by Alec Anderson-Carrasco, this production of Zoo Story shall bring life in the intimate and busy world of the Reef gallery, mixing and intermingling with its adjacent installations and daring passerby's to simply walk away as if its part of their real life. Zoo Story performs June 13th and 14th and the Reef in Downtown Los Angeles. Admission is free upon your RSVP.
